A new mixed-use development and sports complex is coming to Texas and is projected to be the second largest sports center in the state. Located in Kaufman, TX, the project is a thirty-five mile drive from Dallas. Manning is the executive architect for the 52-acre site development that includes a 174,000 sf sportsplex, 100-room hotel, retail, and a mix of residential options. The sportsplex includes multifunction court and turf configurations, a family entertainment center, meeting rooms, and concessions for large-scale sport tournaments. The Public Private Partnership projects five hundred new jobs will be created with 250,000 visitors annually and an economic impact of $100 million in the region over twenty years. The project will draw youth and adults for national, regional, and state sporting events to the state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology.

The tiered development will be staged in three phases, opening the sportsplex and hotel in the first phase, followed by retail and commercial space in Phase 2, with townhomes and apartments coming online in Phase 3.
