The 91 campuses of the New Orleans public school system have been assessed to give NOLA Public Schools the detailed facilities information it needs to plan the future of the K-12 system. Manning collaborated with CSRS on this effort that addressed eight-and-a-half million square feet of space.

The Manning team performed site surveys, documented existing conditions, recommended repairs, and estimated construction costs for the buildings that ranged from historic structures to new construction. Along the way, we were reminded of the vital role the public school system has played in the history of the city and its continuing importance as educational strategies evolve post-pandemic.

With the data on hand from this facilities assessment, NOLA Public Schools has the tools it needs to address needed repairs, establish funding priorities, and conduct a capital planning program that aligns with goals for the near and long term.
