Manning, APC was engaged to design the architectural elements of the floodwall that extends along the Mississippi River levee in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Our work included custom patterns of stylized native plants within the panelized construction that provide a place-based signature. Manning’s complete elevations detailed the full extent of the patterned wall that provides protection from river flooding while recognizing New Orleans culture.
