ENMCCNO Upriver Parcel Analysis
Preparing for development of a vibrant new neighborhood
The Manning team prepared analysis and planning in preparation of development of the Morial Convention Center’s 39-acre upriver parcels. The planning took into consideration a hotel, commercial, retail, and residential uses for a new neighborhood development and included an infrastructure analysis in preparation of the anticipated development. The result was a resource to guide work in advance of hiring a master developer, and focused on street alignment, repairs, stormwater drainage, sanitary sewer analysis, relocation of existing utilities, and integration of new site utilities to support a new street grid for the planned mixed-use community. The work included a cost estimate and phased implementation schedule.
