Andrew Higgins Transit and Livability Study
Increasing multi-modal links in New Orleans
Manning developed a comprehensive urban design and transit strategy to increase multi-modal links between the Convention Center, the National WWII Museum, and the Union Passenger Terminal.
Manning completed this Systems Feasibility Study for the Regional Planning Commission in 2010. The goal for the project was to develop a comprehensive urban design strategy for enhanced livability, and safe and accessible multi-modal links between the Museum District and both the Convention Center and the Union Passenger Terminal. The design also includes landscaping strategies that reduce stormwater runoff and enhance the corridor.
